Trust is earned with architecture, not promises. Here is exactly how CoinGPT handles custody, keys, and your data.

Non-custodial by design

CoinGPT never holds, pools, or touches your funds. Assets stay on your own exchange account at all times. We are an analysis and execution layer, not a wallet, not a broker, not a custodian.

Trade-only API keys

Exchange connections use API keys with trading permissions only. Withdrawal rights are never requested, never required, and never used. Even in a worst-case scenario, funds cannot leave your exchange via CoinGPT.

Encrypted at rest & in transit

API keys and sensitive account data are encrypted at rest, and all traffic between you, CoinGPT, and exchanges runs over encrypted connections.

Revocable, instantly

Disconnect an exchange from CoinGPT with one click, or delete the key from your exchange's side. Either action severs access immediately. Automated strategies can be paused or stopped at any moment.

Payments by Stripe & crypto

Card payments are processed by Stripe, we never see or store your card details. Crypto payments are supported for all paid tiers. Cancel anytime.

You stay in command

Manual trades require your confirmation. Automation runs only when you enable it, within limits you set, leverage, sizing, and concurrency are always yours to control.

Recommended practices

  • Create a dedicated API key for CoinGPT on your exchange with trading permissions only, most exchanges let you confirm withdrawal rights are disabled at creation.
  • Enable IP allowlisting on your exchange if offered, and two-factor authentication everywhere.
  • Start any new strategy with small size. Backtests inform; live markets decide.
  • Review connected applications on your exchange periodically and remove anything you no longer use.

A note on risk

Security architecture protects your funds from unauthorized access; it does not remove market risk. Trading cryptocurrencies involves substantial risk of loss. AI analysis can be wrong, and past or backtested performance does not guarantee future results. Never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
